Refund Policy

What this policy covers
This policy covers paid Zento Menu software subscriptions purchased through Paddle. It does not cover food or drink ordered from a restaurant using Zento Menu; please contact the restaurant about those orders. The Free plan has no subscription charge to refund.
Paddle is the merchant of record and authorised reseller for paid Zento subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Paddle under its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Nothing on this page limits mandatory rights under applicable law.
How to request a refund
Visit paddle.net and choose “Request refund”, or use the support link in your Paddle receipt. Provide the email address used for the purchase, the transaction or receipt reference and the reason for your request. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
If you need help finding your purchase or have a problem with Zento Menu, email info@zento.menu. We can help investigate the issue and coordinate with Paddle; refunds are processed through Paddle rather than by a separate direct payment from Zento.
Eligibility and statutory withdrawal rights
Payments are generally non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise or Paddle approves a discretionary refund. Paddle may consider discretionary requests submitted within 14 days of a transaction on a case-by-case basis; submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Consumers in the EU/EEA, Switzerland and UK may have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw following the initial subscription purchase. Exceptions can apply to digital content supplied with the required express consent and acknowledgement; using this hosted service alone does not automatically waive a statutory right. Renewal payments do not generally start a new withdrawal period, subject to local law and Paddle’s country-specific provisions. Other countries may provide additional or different rights.
Where available, use the withdrawal option in the Paddle customer portal. You can also tell Paddle clearly that you wish to withdraw through its buyer support at paddle.net. See Paddle’s Refund Policy for the applicable rights and request methods. Your mandatory rights take priority over any general non-refund rule.
Faulty or unavailable paid features
If paid features are materially defective, unavailable or not as described, contact info@zento.menu so we can investigate and try to resolve the issue. If it remains unresolved, contact Paddle with the details and our response. Applicable rights to a remedy or refund are not limited by the general non-refund rule.
Cancellation and future renewals
Cancel through the Paddle customer portal using the “Manage subscription” link in your confirmation email, or request cancellation at paddle.net. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your current billing period and stops future renewal charges. You can continue using the paid features until that period ends, unless the subscription is refunded or otherwise terminated earlier.
Cancelling does not automatically refund the current billing period. Submit a separate refund or withdrawal request if appropriate. See our Terms of Service for more about subscriptions.
Processing an approved refund
Paddle uses the original payment method where possible. Approved discretionary refunds are processed within 14 days of approval. For an eligible EU statutory withdrawal, Paddle refunds within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal request. Mandatory local deadlines take priority. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the funds.
A refund ends access to the subscription or paid features covered by that refund. This does not itself request deletion of your restaurant account or its data.
